Board meetings of AICESIS

Board meetings of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS) took place on 4 and 5 December 2011, in Amman, at the Economic and Social Council in Jordan.

Romania ESC intervention (ro) From our institution participated in this meeting Mr. Florian Costache, President, Mr. Dragos Mihalache, vice president and Ms. Monica Banarescu, Director - International Relations and Public Relations Department.

At this meeting, ESC Romania launched the proposal to establish a council of businessmen around the world who could be called the World Business Council.

This proposal was supported in principle by President AICESIS, Mr. Seghir Babes, and boards from China, Russia, Italy and will be subject to approval by the General Assembly to be held AICESIS in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in June 2012.
