5. International Seminar on the Digital Revolution

6. Visit of a delegation of the ESC of Romania in China 2018

7. The 12-th Civil Society Media Seminar

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organized in Athens, with the support of the Economic and Social Council of Greece (OKE), on 22 and 23 November 2018, the 12-th Civil Society Media Seminar on the topic of "Reasserting Europe’s Values". The event brought together communication experts and political scientists, press officers, journalists, EESC members, delegates of various European economic and social councils. 19. Elective General Assembly of UCESIF 2017

The Economic and Social Council of Romania organized on Friday, 8 December 2017, at its headquarters in Bucharest, an Elective General Assembly of UCESIF. The event brought together representatives of the Francophone CES - Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, France, Mali and Morocco - of the International Francophone Organization, the Ivory Coast Embassy and the Kingdom of Morocco. Three members of the Union, who could not attend the meeting, mandated Mr Nizar Baraka, President of the EESC in Morocco and the then President of UCESIF, to represent them. These were: Guinea's Economic and Social Council, Niger's Economic, Social and Cultural Council, and Senegal's Economic, Social and Environmental Council. ESAs from Armenia, Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Greece, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Mauritania, Monaco and Chad could not be represented at this event. https://www.ces.ro/elective-general-assembly-of-ucesif-2017/en/170


20. The role of EU civil society in a globalized world of communications

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organized on 23 and 24 November 2017, in Madrid, at the headquarters of the Economic and Social Council of Spain, the 11th Civil Society Media Seminar, which focused on an issue that has gained visibility and relevance lately, that is media globalization in connection with the emergence and the development of social media. The event brought together communication specialists and political analysts, journalists, EESC members and representatives of different European Economic and Social Councils. 21. Euromed Egypt 2023 Summit

On 5 and 6 July 2023, the Euromed 2023 Summit of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions took place in Alexandria, Egypt.
